I got a nosebleed due to hair follicle infection a month and a half ago, and had it treated. I started observing some black kind of soot in my nose, and got a CT scan done, and sent the report to the ENT doctor on whatsapp, and thankfully he clarified there we no issues. But I still have the black soot, when I steam twice a day.
I don't smoke but use public transport daily to work.
There are no coughing and headaches. But I am very concerned about this black soot. Kindly clarify

Hi
Black soot or blackish discharge can be the crusts of the blood you had previously.
Next Steps
but to confirm it I would suggest you to visit an ent specialist doctor and get yourself examined properly and then take proper treatment accordingly.
