Your symptoms are suggestive of sub conjunctival hemorrhage
This is benign and don't need treatment
This usually resolves with time

I think you are referring cornea not retina .
That's called sub conjctival hemorrhage.
It's generally self subsides .
If u have any foreign body sensation use a lubricant eye drop 4 times a day
Use vit c tablet once daily for 15 days
