hello
Warm compresses alone will not help
You should add lid massage after warm compresses
If this does not work then intralesional kenacort injection is an option

A chalazion this big and since 8 months needs to be removed surgically by a relatively minor procedure called incision and drainage. It is quite safe and with minimal pain. There will not be any scar after the procedure as the incision will be given on the conjunctival surface and not on the skin.
There is another option of giving an intra lesional tricort injection but it might not be sufficient and has potential side effects.
