Hello, The shoulder pain could be because of various reasons. You should get it checked. Did you get the hip checked for any muscular or bone injury?
Next Steps
1. You can apply ice pack to the area of pain for 10-15 minutes and do simple shoulder movements like lifting the hand up and down, then from the side lift it up , but do these movements within pain limits 2. You can apply any ointment or spray locally to relieve the pain.
Health Tips

Shoulder joint pain could be due to many reasons. To take right treatment it is essential to find out the root cause of your pain. I have few questions like which side shoulder?, How long do you have this pain, Are you diabetic?, Do you have neck pain? Are you able to lift and move your hand?. Are you able to comb your hair?
Next Steps
You should give hot water fomentation for 15-20minutes twice a day. You can use Volini gel or spray provided you are not allergic.
Health Tips
Don't lie on the affected side while sleeping. Try to avoid sudden jerks. Avoid lifting or carrying weight on the affected side. If pain persists after a week then you need to consult a Physician or Physiotherapist or Orthopaedist for further evaluation and treatment as early as possible.
