I've been having severe pain in the heel for 4-5 months. It is maximum in the morning upon waking up, and remains throughout the day. I have started wearing Crocs slippers on advice from a friend but that has hardly improved the situation.

Mostly you have a condition called plantar fasciitis..you need to drink adequate water.. keep your vitamin d in check and do ankle and toe exercises..roll a ball under your feet..and wear a cushioned insole footwear not crocs
