Depression
I used to be a happy girl. But now I always remain sad. Even if I try to be happy, I am unable to. I constantly feel disappointed with everything and everyone. I feel my mom is partial. She loves my brother more than me. My dad always used to support me, but now even he has changed. He thinks I am wrong. I had a boyfriend who really loved me. But I broke up with him because I didn't feel the same for him. Then I met another guy. He likes me. But he is not as sweet as my ex-bf. He is always making fun of me. I need his support. I want him to encourage me and o n the contrary he discourages me. I feel lost. No one who cares. No one whom I can trust. No one to confide in. I am in this constant state of crying. U give me 2 minutes to be alone, and I will start crying. I had an emotional break down a couple of days ago. I started crying in front of my parents (I generally don't do that). And I don't know why, I converted those tears into anger. Plz Help!!

I understand your distressful situation. You seem to be suffering from depressive symptoms including increased sensitivity, helplessness, irritability etc. However more clarity is needed regarding your problem. Information regarding your sleep, hunger, energy levels and concentration at whatever you do would be more helpful to decide on the severity of your condition. Your personality traits need to be evaluated in detail as well. Don't worry it is not your fault, it is the hormonal and chemical fluctuations in your brain which is taking a toll on your mental health. It is easily manageable with appropriate treatment, so that dysfunction due to the same can be reduced and your quality of life will improve. Some counselling sessions along with medical help might be useful for you. I would also be more than happy to help you with that if you are looking for online assistance. Discussions will be held confidential. You can directly consult with me through Practo as needed. Online chat consultation is available.
