1. Maintain a healthy weight: Losing excess weight, if necessary, can help reduce fat in the liver. 2. Limit sugar and refined carbohydrates: Reducing your intake of sugary foods and refined carbohydrates may help lower fat accumulation in the liver. 3. Increase fiber intake: Consuming high-fiber foods like fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can support liver health. 4. Choose healthy fats: Opt for unsaturated fats found in sources like avocados, nuts, and olive oil while limiting saturated and trans fats. 5. Moderate alcohol consumption: If you drink alcohol, do so in moderation or avoid it altogether, as alcohol can contribute to liver problems. 6. Watch portion sizes: Be mindful of portion sizes to avoid overeating, which can contribute to excess calorie intake. 7. Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water to help your liver process toxins efficiently. 8. Eat lean protein: Include lean sources of protein like poultry, fish, and tofu in your diet. 9. Exercise regularly: Physical activity can aid in weight management and overall health.
