See Geetika, we usually don't treat the MRI reports. we believe in clinical assessment of patient symptomatology for deciding the treatment protocol. All cases should initially be tried with conservative trial untill unless there are any indicationsof existing cauda equina syndrome. Most patients with mild to moderate narrowing/compression do well. but as suggested by the mR report the narrowing is below critical diameter. if the patient symptoms are excruciating and non responding to a conservative trial for 6 weeks minimum, get operated with a microscopic/minimally invasive approach. Try Tab Gabapin NT twice a day 5 days Tab medrol 5mg thrice a day 5 days Tab Neucoxia MR twice a day 5 days Cap becosule twice a day and strict bed rest for at-least 3 days. hot fomentation and Interefential therapy might accelerate relief pattern. if this donot work consult neuro/ spine surgeon for opinion.

I have gone through your MRI reports. It is not advisable to go for surgery as a first option. Disc extrusion can be cured in 2-3 months with Physiotherapy Treatment .So I would advice you to visit to the Physiotherapist and consult him/her. Thanks Dr. Neetu Rathi MPT ( Neuro),Sector 39 Gurgaon
