Wait for 1-2 weeks initially it will increase and then subside. Even after 2 weeks if it persists or does not act, consult your psychiatrist again. Good luck

It will subside with time. Nothing to worry. But if symptoms persist for more than 2-3 weeks, change of medication and dosage may be needed.

Hello there. It is normal to experience worsening of symptoms in the initial period of starting escitalopram. Don’t worry. Take half of the dosage for next 3-4 days and then the prescribed dose. You should be fine .
