Fibroids (few hypoechoic lesions)
Sir, below is what scanning report says ,please tell me is surgery needed ?or can reduce fibroids with medication? Uterus : anteverted bulky measures 73×44mm Myometrium -few hypoechoic lesions noted at anterior and posterior wall largest measuring 20×16mm Endometrium 6mm Impressions: Bulky uterus and few hypoechoic lesions -s/o fibroids Rest of whole abdominal study is normal

Fibroids are very common ..As you are 42 years old and the largest size is 2 cm u do not need any intervention now..They grow slowly and stop growing after menopause... so if it’s not causing any symptoms I would just follow up with yearly scans
