Hi. One or the other day it will progress towards pulp. Don't wait for pain to come. U can try with filing initially, if any symptoms of pain or discomfort u can go for RCT.
Me personally I’d advice in saving the vitality of the teeth by going for Indirect Pulp Capping after caries removal and then with a direct composite restoration.
It’s worth the wait and money
Hello,
I would suggest go for Root Canal treatment followed by crown as it will be sure shot treatment for your problem. Why wait for pain and infection, right?
Next Steps

Hi,
It is advisable to get a root canal treatment done. No need to wait for the pain to start. You can try and get a filling done, but you may or may not develop pain after filling is done.
