Food stuck in throat
During dinner, I think a part of my food got stuck in my windpipe. However, I did not choke or had to cough a lot. I had the feeling that at one point the food did leave my windpipe but I am not sure. Now I still have the feeling that something is stuck in my throat but I can breathe fine and talk as well. I only still cough because i feel like something is stuck. So is there a chance that just coughed up the food and swallowed it and that my throat is just irritated?

Usually in adults foreign body inside windpipe or lower down are expelled by powerful cough reflex. It's unlikely that it will stay in airway without any symptoms. Probably you have injured your upper airway while coughing. Usually it will resolve on its own within few days
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
