Food that doesn't contain Spices
Hi everyone , I am having stomach infection so physician told me not to eat food containing spices ( masala) and try to eat only sweet items. Can anyone suggest me what can i eat apart from daliya. Also, i hate sweet food items.

In case of stomach infections, it is important to avoid spicy food, but you can opt for bland foods by only adding a bit salt in it. You can include oats, upma, different types of porridges, vegetable soups and juices in your diet.

You can prepare a number of things without spice instead of eating only sweets like upma, idli, dosa, curd rice, buttermilk, chillas, khichdi, etc.

Hello, No spices is the main instruction. So you can have vegetable soups, curd, buttermilk, boiled sprouts , daliya khichdi, dal rice , curd rice  etc For detailed  diet we need to speak as need to know what kind of infection it is  and then can plan diet  for this. Similar to Daliya, Oats, vermicelli, poha, upma, veg rolls (toasted on tawa), idli, dhokla are all the items which can be made non spicy & less spicy. For detailed guidance & specific consult, contact directly. Thanks
