Four to five days
Feeling pain and enable to pass stool she always feel that stool is coming but when she go to toilet she enable to pass the stool and feel too much pain what should i do? Doctor.

1. Start plenty of water/liquid daily between 6-7am to 7pm.. 2. Give Syr Duphalac 30ml at bed time.. If stool not comes then give again 30ml in morning.. If loose stool occurs just stop morning dose.. And continue night dose for few days.. 3. Stop fried/spicy items in food.. 4. Include fiber diet and start morning walk... Is there any h/o chronic medical condition? Like Diabetes, hypertension, tuberculosis??

You need high fiber diet.. Can try laxative for few days. Consult a general surgeon for furthur assistance.

Hello There. I can understand your concern. She needs to drink lots of water and have a high protein and high fiber diet. she needs to have several smaller meals rather than three huge meals. syp. duphalac 15 ml before bed. one cup of curd after food in the afternoon. kindly consult a general surgeon in person for further evaluation and management if it still persists. Hello. I understand your concern. The above symptoms can be managed by the following medicines . Tab Oflox-Oz twice daily after meals. Syrup Duphalac 15 ml at night. I would also like to add , please answer the following questions. Do you have any blood in stools, any chronic constipation, any recent stomach infection? Dr Amarpreet Singh New Delhi
