You should avoid sugar and sugary fruits like mango banana. Avoid eating rice much, have it once in 10 days only. Suji Idli is fine. Potato very less. Add more fibre in diet Opt for more vegetables and pulses and eggs Avoid milk at night High sugar will increase your weight as well as your baby’s weight also. N can give make you a permanent diabetic person if you will not control for sugar levels. Start walk once you enter in 26-27 weeks. Your placenta will be up by this time hopefully. Otherwise yoga you can do.

First and foremost please do not worry about GDM. Anxiety and stress increases sugar levels. Kindly book a consultation with practo for a detailed gestational diabetic diet plan. We shall breeze through the pregnancy together.

Hi, Gestational  diabetes is quite common nowadays. But don't worry, you just have focused on your food habit. 2/3 mango you can have but It will be good if you consume it alternative day. Use 1tsp of sugar instead of 2 in tea. Rice, potato, idli all you can consume but in limited quantity and should have with vegetables. Eat rice based products once per day, rather include more complex carbohydrates. Include more vegetables. You should focus iron rich food like egg yolk, jaggery, sesame seeds, soyabean etc.
Next Steps
You can consult with me through this practo app for further discussion.
Health Tips
Don't take so much stress which can provoke blood glucose level.
