I have been undergoing treatment for my pure OCD and anxiety since 4 years . Recently my fear is related to ghosts . I suddenly get scared that some ghost will come and harm me and I get these images in my mind of some horror scenes of movies that I watched before . What should I do ? I am already under fluoxetine but I need techniques to deal with this ghost related ocd .

Hi there,
A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed for every patient. In addition, a detailed mental status examination is also recommended for every patient to make a diagnosis and management of the case accordingly .
As per your description, you are on OCD medications for long.Don’t worry with your symptoms. Anyone can get that kind of scare when they see such ghost related movies.
Do talk this issue with your treating mental health professional.Relaxation exercises and psychological interventions are likely to give you better results.
Avoid seeing such movies and definitely during the late hours.
