It's good that you've already taken antibiotics, but recurring boils in the private area might indicate an underlying issue, such as a recurrent bacterial infection (commonly Staphylococcus), ingrown hairs, or even a chronic condition like hidradenitis suppurativa.
To reduce recurrence, ensure you maintain proper hygiene, wear loose-fitting clothes to minimize friction, and avoid shaving the area if irritation is present. Using an antiseptic wash might also help prevent further infection.
However, persistent or recurring boils may require further evaluation to rule out any underlying immune or dermatological conditions. It might also be necessary to perform a culture to identify the exact pathogen causing the recurrence and guide targeted antibiotic treatment.
