Jaundice in 16 days newborn male baby
Hi Doctor, My 16 days old baby boy diagnosed with jaundice on the 5th day after birth and admitted to hospital for three days for phototherapy ND VALUE DECREASED FROM 23.2 TO 12.3 after that when tested again on the second day after discharged from hospital the value came 16.98. I have consulted with the doctor again but he is saying, not to worry, I have to exclusively breastfeed my baby which I am doing. But his poo turned more yellow however urine color is pale yellow. please advice?

Just repeat the jaundice test again if it's increasing again you need to show it to your pediatrician for treatment,don't neglect it
