How did we know that Kidneys are damaged, based on creatinine can we decide kidney damage and I am done with Ultrasound scanning its showing 1. Grade 1 bilateral renal parenchymal changes. Why is it showing like this is normal or not  and my creatinine is 1.2 mg/dl.

Have you done any creatinine levels before this Pls do urine routine as well Creatinine level is in normal range but u need to check it again after a month to see if it's increasing Kidney scan is a subjective thing..grade 1 renal parenchymal changes means there is some change in the texture of the kidney. Pls upload the whole report.

Hi Creatinine level depends on your muscle mass, recent strenuous workouts, hydration status and maybe on higher normal range even if kidneys are normal. Ultrasound showing grade 1 changes may or may not be significant as it can be seen even if you are dehydrated.
