Yes Migraine is very much a real problem. It can run in families. Depending on the severity and frequency of migraine, treatment is generally advised. There are medications for acute attacks and as preventive ie. prophylactic treatment which is given to those who get migraine frequently. The best way to avoid getting migraine is to know the triggers. Maintain a migraine diary and note your triggers that cause migrane for eg. going in the sun, acidity, skipping meals, certain foods like cheese, chocolate etc can also cause migraine. So know your triggers. Please consult for further detailed advice.

Hi Migraine is a real problem. You need to take preventive medication for 6 to 9 months or so. The dose of propranolol you are taking currently is very low , and you need to increase the dose of this after consultation with your doctor. Pain killers like naxdom or headset is to be taken when you have headache. Also do some exercise and meditation. Maintain headache dairy. Thanks and regards
