I have been having mucus in stool for the past two weeks.I usually have one or two bowel movements a day usually.Recently I cut down on calories to lose some fat and have started exercising regularly.I don't see mucus with every bowel movement, but thrice or four times a week. It is clear and not visible with the naked eye, I can feel just a tiny bit of it when I clean up,I even had yellow mucus once a few days ago, which got me a little concerned .Is this normal or a cause for concern?

These variations happen. Mucous may be sign of various colonic diseases. Including ibs etc.
Stool tests, colonoscopy etc may be needed if problem increases.
