Pain around heel, below feet and fingre
Hi doc, I have been feeling pain around heel, below feet and around fingers when I squeeze them or make a fist. I have done ESR, RA factor and CBC test recently. Only ESR values are out of range but not extreme. Gone through medical checkup in aug and taking Vitamin D medicine as it was around 8. Had a discussion with general physician but he prescribed pain killer and asked to get x-ray as he think bones are growing which I think should not be the case. I have not done any x-ray so far. What is the cause of pain and how do I get cure of it. Which type of doctor should I visit. Please reply.

Consulting a orthopedic.getting a xray done and ruling out if spur which means bony overgrowth is a cause should be ruled out, also to check and assessment of spine need to be done as spine related radiating heel pain also occur.so please visit a orthopedic Dr and treatment has to be either ways physiotherapy to treat the cause and prevent recurrence.mere painkiller will only be temporary numbing of pain.so treat the cause.and confirm your diagnosis by a orthopedic.
