Pain in left hip and stiff lower back
I recently started exercise for fat loss after 1.5yr gap of my last C-sec. I have been facing this sharp pain that starts from left hip till knee. Also I notice my lower back feels more rigid than before as I find it a little difficult to bend. It's been 3-4 days I'm doing some stretching and applying hot & cold pack so as to reduce the pain, and it did but the stiffness in my lower back and the pain in my hip hasn't gone completely. What could possibly the reason? Should I consult a physiotherapist or continue with the home remedies?

Hi You can apply hot water bag on lower back to relax it. I would recommend you to do core strengthening before strengthening your abs or working on your tummy. Core strengthening and pelvic floor muscle strengthening ( kegels most common ) may help in this condition. Pain that is starting from your hip going till knee can be neurological or just muscular, that needs examination after that only it can be treated.
Next Steps
Avoid lifting weights or jerky movements, specially sudden forward bends.

Hello, you should consult a physiotherapist for a correct diagnosis. There are many stretches you should do for muscle stiffness. If there is no swelling, use only a hot pack to relax the muscle. Also, avoid bending forward and lifting weight. And might possible that the exercise you’re doing is increasing your pain, which means it might not be the right one for you.
Next Steps
Consult physiotherapist for correct exercises and stratching also change your routine do not lift heavy weight
Health Tips
Use hot pack
