Pain on chest bone
My father is having problem on chest bone . he lifted some weight after which problem started. Consulted chest specialist . he told no problem in chest. But he is still having pain for past two week. Consulted ortho . he had given tablet but still pain not reduced.They are telling pain because of chest bone. Please suggest.

Muscle soreness doesn't stay for weeks or gets a little better with time, rest and medication. He hasn't got much relief it seems. It can be Costochondritis. Avoid unnecessary activities and exercise so that the patient can get some relief. Many a times it goes undiagnosed. If the symptoms doesn't drop down in the next few days then please consider showing the case to the Orthopaedic expert.
