I sprained my ankle. There was 3 snaps as I went down. It was severely swollen and bruised now. No doubt in my mind there's something wrong. However my pain is very very minimal. Only really when it "slides".I couldn't put weight on it but there was no pain involved. Can this be caused by peripheral neuropathy? Or is my endorphins just that great?

Hello ther
Severe swelling came immediately after sprain? Pain is minimal! It indicates it's Grade 3 ankle sprain-avalsion/torn ligament. that is why it's minimum pain and swelling over ankle region
Next Steps
RICE protocol :- Rest, Icing,Compression, Elevation...this will reduce swelling
Plz consult the orthopedician..
