Please help. Iron deficiency anemia.
Do I need to take vitamin C supplements if I'm already taking Ferrous ascorbate? I've heard ferrous ascorbate is a mixture of iron and vitamin C? What are your opinions? Thankyou

My view is that you need Vit C with Ferrous ascorbate. You need Vit C in a dose of 500 mg to 1000 mg. Whereas Ferrous ascorbate can't have that amount of Ascorbate. Secondly the property of Vit C will not be found in Ascorbate.
