Should I take protein powder?
Hello doctor, I want to increase my weight since I am underweight. I weigh 46 kg and my height is 5'7. I read on google about this product called ' Protinex tasty chocolate 250GM'. Is it worth giving it a try? If it is, how much is recommended to consume per day?

Hi Don't take unnecessary protein powders. There will be chance of effect some internal organs in future. You can definitely meet your daily protein intake through normal balanced diet. Thank you.

Hi! As per your age and height, you are quite Underweight. Please include foods that can import our appetite and also help you gain some mass like milk , milk products, bananas, dry fruits and healthy fats like ghee. ‘Protinex’ has an unpleasant taste, and is not very effective in healthy weight gain as it has sugar in high amounts. A detailed assessment is necessary to give you a suitable diet plan for healthy weight gain.
Next Steps
Stay hydrated, eat high protein foods. Consult online on practo.com for further advice
