Hello there, I can understand how hard it is for you to deal with these problems. I assure you that these issues can be resolved with proper counselling sessions.
Hi. You have to raise chances of interaction passively first. Find yourself among crowd after covid situation subsides. See how they are taking you. Visit malls if possible . Take part in online trainings such as webinars or conferences. Ask questions or present paper there. Take up job where you need to lead few to many people. Take responsibility. Interact over phone calls. Interact with people who are junior to you.
Hey there! I understand how difficult it might be for you to deal with social anxiety. However let me tell you that you have taken a brave step in the right direction by reaching out for help. Many individuals find it extremely hard to reach out for help and I am proud of you for realising it and acting at the right time. The best thing for you to do is to consult a mental health professional. A Psychologist is a mental health professional who would be able to look into your concern in detail and formulate a specific treatment plan. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT is a type of therapy that has shown successful results in better management of social anxiety. However, on consultation with the therapist, your therapist will be able to guide you from there! However, here are a few things you could so alongside therapy to help you manage your social anxiety better:
Practise mindfulness and relaxation techniques : Even practising a few minutes of therapy on a daily basis is said to have amazing results. It will help you manage your stress a lot better and also help you have better control over yourself.
Find support groups for social anxiety : It always helps if you can interact with people who have similar concerns as you do. Talking to them and hearing and sharing experiences and also finding out how they deal with it might be a great way to help you find ways you can deal with it.
Reach out to family and friends: Although it can be hard to discuss extremely personal things, talking to your loved ones will make you feel like you are supported. It will also create a sense of belongingness and help you through your struggles.
Journal your feelings : Penning down your feelings will help you identify your triggers and help you reflect on yourself. This will also help you vent your feelings out and sometimes that alone might cheer you up and help you cope with social anxiety better.
Thereâs always light at the end of the tunnel! Donât give up!
It seems that you feel anxious in social or interpersonal situations whether in person or over online medium. You could contact a psychologist to understand the thoughts behind those anxious feelings. You could also contact a psychiatrist.
It looks like that your low self esteem is the root cause for your behaviour or feeling..
I suggest you to consult a psychological Counselor to overcome this issue..
