in addition-- the following lifestyle changes will help you to get an early cure and prevent recurrence---take 12-15 glasses of water daily .----pass urine at least every 4-5 hours---use only clean and tidy toilets----if you are forced to use unhygienic urinal /toilet --due to circumstances--- don't feel shy to pass urine in standing position ---so that micro-droplets from the toilet surface will not fall in your private areas --leading to urinary tract infection again------when ever you are washing your private areas -wash from front to back and don't move from back to front of your private area ---which will bring millions of microorganisms from your vaginal outlet to urinary orifice -----leading to uti again-----.try to use loose cotton undergarments'----maintain strict menstrual hygiene .----avoid over-exposure to hot and humid circumstances - - if badly necessary to stay in hot climate for long hours ---take 4 more glasses of water on that day.------use v-wash daily instead of soap etc. for cleaning private areas -so that alkaline status of the area will be maintained .treat health problems of Genito urinary system promptly and continue treatment for the period -which your doctor advice---don't stop when symptoms are cleared.---that will lead to resistant organisms--which can lead to chronic urinary infection .thank you for asking this most important question ------many women are suffering from this problem-- due to ignorance of these simple preventive measures.

Hi dear, ok so your antibiotic course got over? Your symptoms are better off with the treatment.
Next Steps
Pain will subside within a few days after the infection is completely gone. Do you have any vomitting sensation, fever or so?
Health Tips
Keep a close check on that, otherwise a USG abdomen has to be done. Please do consult here for further details.
