There is definitely a problem with your father’s heart rate / rhythm. It will be important to know if his ekg was fine. In case it is a problem with the nerves that is affecting the heart rate or causing fainting, then medical management will be necessary. That said if it is a problem with the heart’s own rhythm/beat generators, then he may need intervention in the form if a pacemaker. Consult your cardiologist and he will guide you more.
