The rule to lose weight is simple but very hard to follow.
You need to take in less calories than required by you in the day.
And then you should be burning more than what you have taken in.
That way fat will melt away little by little.
Have a high protein high fiber low carbohydrate diet.
Lots of greens and veggies.
Don't have processed foods.
Do cardio workout like jumping, skipping rope, running etc.
They will help in burning lots of calories.
