What is the real cause of constipation?
I see body heat causes it but lot of advices are given to eat fruits like papaya, pineapple which is totally opposite to fix it. Besides advices given to eat fiber rich foods, drink water, are there any other reasons for constipation? Which vitamin deficiency can cause it? What other problems can cause it?

Beside food and water, some other aspects which cause constipation like Sedentary life style, stress and changes in your routines. Be stick on to your routine, be active and control your stress levels
First of all not eating properly all food groups also promote constipation
And too much stress is the biggest reason is there that is causing binge and unhealthy eating
According to me have water 2-3 liters a day
Milk 200 ml
Milk products under 100gms
Grains 400gms ( uncooked)
Dal 2 katori
Fruits and vegetables (1 plate 1/2 1/2 each as salad)
And walking , yoga or workout seperate
Fat 3 teaspoon

Sedentary life style is the main cause for constipation.
Processed and packed food also increase more chances of constipation,and other stomach problems.
So,try to stick to home cooked foods.
And,eat your dinner early.

Not only Diet but lack of Physical activity, poor water intake, irregular timings, junk & processed intake, high salt n sugar, poor sleep patterns, stress levels, all contribute to constipation & poor Gut health.
Take balanced & healthy meals with rectifying all the above said points.
Gud after noon pls include fiber contain foods into your diet like fruits green vegs leafy vegs nuts n roasted seeds etc into your diet drink plenty of water n do exercise so that constipation issue can be resolved.
