I went to ILBS as my mom was detected to have a tumour at the base of her tongue during this July. And the Doctor provided was Dr. Deepti Sharma, Radiation deptt.

The Doctor was thorough while explaining the issue at hand and the advised treatment. Since my mom has had the illness for a while now, we decided to go ahead with the given advice, straightaway.

The entire treatment, Radiation and Chemo went for close to a two-month period and all this while, we were ably supported by Dr. Deepti. Whenever I had some questions/doubts, she helped me with the solutions.

My mother cancer treatment was going on in AIIMS and we started Radio Therapy treatment under the guidance of Dr Deepti Sharma.

My father was suffering from Liver Cancer, then one of our family doctor advised us to visit ILBS. firstly we are very much afraid that how we afford such kind of treatment and how doctors treat my father. But Dr. S K Sarin (Gastroenterologist & Head of ILBS) saw my father's reports and immediately handed over my father's case to Dr Deepti Sharma ma'am (Radiation oncologist) who came as the God for us in our life. I went for radiation therapy for my father. It was very unexpected experience for me. The way Dr.Deepti Sharma explained the issue to me and the steps that had to be taken to reduce the effect. Despite of the fact that the cancer was not curable, I was really impressed by the way Dr.Deepti Sharma and her oncology team helped my father to get over the pain he was having. It was more like a family was taking care of it's own member rather than a patient. The whole team was very supportive and compassionate towards my father. I've never had such an experience anywhere else. I'm very thankful to the team for taking such care of my father.

At the very first session of my consultation I found the doctor very confident with my ailment. She elaborately discussed the procedure of therapy, the probable sufferings during and post procedure were also conveyed. During the entire treatment I found her very laborious and most promising towards her assignments. She has got a charismatic personality and I think she would be an asset to the organisation.
