****** ** * **** ****** *** a good human being as well. I have been seeing her for a year on and off . What makes her good in her profession and why i recommend her :
1. She is very friendly. I always felt that i am talking to a friend with whom i can share everything and anything and then she could guide or rather give me a nudge. Makes you comfortable and establishes you as an equal partner in conversations. Listens everything very attentively and carefully.
2. Works with the patient to make them self sufficient right from the beginning. So, she focuses more on therapy techniques. Conversations are guided by them and hence at the end of the session you will come home, always learning something new to practice. She works to make patients self dependent on their own. You don't feel you are spoon fed. She maintains the right balance which eventually makes you confident.
3. She will thoroughly explain what a particular therapy is ,how it is in tune with diagnosis, what it does and how it works ( aadha kaam toh isi se ho jaata hai). Most importantly she will explain to you why it is important to go with this particular technique and not the other one, seeing the particular requirements of yours.
4. Understands the emotional, material and behavioral condition of the patients and works accordingly. She might even at times give certain insights from her own life which makes you assured and more connected.
5. I never felt at the end of session that i have wasted my time and money just talking and throwing out and doing nothing.

Starting therapy from Prachi mam was the best decision i made. She is friendly, considerate and helpful. She is empathetic towards the patient’s problem. Its been almost a year i have been in therapy and i can feel a change in me. Being an introvert, shyy and under confident person , my friends onlyy used me for there own good and i was okay with it and was left sad and alone but being in therapy working on myself helped me understand the importance of choosing me nd focusing on me to become the best version of myself.Prachi mam makes u a better person in life who is more considerate of theirs and other people’s feelings. Have been seeing Ms. Prachi for over eight months now. Sought her help when I had many stressers in my life and we slowly worked on managing stress during that time and on other things related to personality traits which had caused problems in my interpersonal relationships. She is patient and friendly, while also being very methodical in her approach towards providing strategies and ideas for coping with stressful situations and emotional crises. I'm near the end of my therapy and can say with confidence that it has helped me gain particular insights on identifying red flags in relationships as well as knowing where my own responses are coming from.

Consulted with Ms. Prachi Chauhan around September 2020 after struggling with constant anxiety. I was very nervous about this since this was my first time trying therapy. From the very beginning, she made me feel comfortable and didn’t judge me for my irrational thoughts. She’s a very friendly person and explains the health issue to you very thoroughly. Over the past 6 months, I’ve seen myself improve a lot. I have control over my irrational thoughts and extreme emotions. She has taught me a number of techniques to look at my thoughts rationally. I always look forward to our weekly sessions because they feel like talking to a friend rather than a formal doctor-patient conversation. I was struggling with depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation from the very beginning of 2020, after a hard-hitting breakup and the death of my pets. Before coming to Dr. Prachi, I met some other psychologists working at some reputable hospitals but I was misdiagnosed with bipolarity, and I wasn't getting any better. When I finally met her in July 2020, she diagnosed me with BPD and everything finally started to make sense for me. Over the past 7 months, I've seen myself improve a lot. I stopped harming myself, I've been able to work through my impulsivity and extreme emotions, and I feel more calm and composed. We even worked through my body image issues that I had been struggling with for the past 4-5 years. The journey towards recovery from BPD is a slow one, but I'm glad that I have Dr. Prachi with me who guides me through it.
Dr. Prachi comes across as a friend more than anything else, there is no judgment in her therapy sessions, and she always listens. It's not a typical formal doctor-patient relationship. There's humour, fun, discussions, and most importantly, recovery. At the risk of sounding poetic, when I had quite literally lost all hope for my life, Dr. Prachi saved me and convinced me that the best is yet to come. I have nothing but gratitude for her in my heart.
