Visited Dr. Amrit Kapoor (ENT/ Otorhinolaryngologist) For Sinus Surgery
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for moneyWait time
I had been struggling with a severely blocked nose for over a decade, coupled with regular flare-ups of asthma and allergic reactions. This condition had significantly impacted my quality of life, making it difficult to breathe, sleep, and carry out daily activities. After numerous consultations and treatments with little to no relief, I was referred to Dr. Amrit Kapoor at Max Super Speciality Panchsheel park for sinus surgery in February 2024.
From my very first consultation, Dr. Kapoor's expertise and deep understanding of ENT issues were evident. He thoroughly examined my condition, patiently listened to my concerns, and explained the surgical procedure in detail. His vast experience in handling complex sinus issues and his compassionate approach immediately put me at ease.
The surgery was a success, and Dr. Amrit's care ensured that every aspect of the procedure was handled with precision. Post-surgery, he provided exceptional care, regularly checking in on my progress and ensuring I was comfortable and recovering well. His dedication to minimizing the recurrence of polyps was particularly noteworthy by use of Nasal drainage. He prescribed a comprehensive post-operative care plan, including medications and lifestyle adjustments, to prevent future issues.
Thanks to Dr. Kapoor, I am now breathing freely for the first time in years. I saw my Oxygen level reaching to 99% which always hoovered around 94-95%. My asthma and allergic reactions have significantly reduced, and I feel a tremendous improvement in my overall well-being. His skill, knowledge, and genuine concern for his patients make him an outstanding ENT specialist.
I highly recommend Dr. Amrit Kapoor to anyone facing ENT issues especially with Sinus. His exceptional care and expertise have truly transformed my life. God Bless, Dr Amrit Kapoor.
Visited Dr. Aditya Kumar Singh (Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon)
The recent coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery performed by Dr. Aditya on my father was an unexpected turn of events. As a family, we were understandably anxious when the angiography revealed multiple arterial blockages, a stark contrast to my father's lack of prior symptoms.
Dr. Aditya's exceptional patience and empathy were invaluable during this challenging time. He addressed our numerous, and perhaps naive, questions with unfailing courtesy. Taking the time to meticulously explain the intricacies of the procedure and expected postoperative course instilled a sense of calm within our family. His genuine concern actively alleviated our fears, demonstrating a remarkable level of emotional intelligence. Even during his personal leave, Dr. Aditya ensured clear communication by promptly answering our inquiries via text, never letting the line of communication with the family falter.
Post-surgical follow-up appointments have been refreshingly efficient. Dr. Aditya exhibits remarkable flexibility in scheduling, ensuring my father's needs are met. His thoroughness and meticulous attention to detail are truly commendable. Furthermore, his commitment extends beyond cursory examinations; he personally conducts a physical evaluation, providing an unparalleled level of care.
Without reservation, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Aditya to anyone requiring cardiac surgery. His exceptional medical skills are matched only by his genuine compassion and unwavering commitment to patient care.
Visited Dr. Manju Khemani (Laparoscopic Surgeon (Obs & Gyn)) For Pregnancy care and managementPregnancy Check UpPregnantPregnant Women CounselingPregnancy
Happy with: Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
Dr. Manju Khemani had been recommended to us while we were pregnant with our 1st baby by 2 of our relatives who both are Doctors too but in other Specialities. This was 7 years ago. We live in South Delhi.
She was attentive & friendly from the start till the delivery of our child and during post-delivery visits too. She prescribed minimal medicines & tests.
Regarding wait times, she's a very famous Doctor in South Delhi and during our visits to her clinic, we witnessed patients coming from as far as Greater Noida for consultations with her. It's always better to visit her after taking a prior appointment else you might have to wait till she's finished with her appointments or there's an opening due to cancellations/no-show.
Regarding deliveries, she has a strict no-caesarean (C-Section) delivery policy unless in case of emergencies. She prefers and always mentions beforehand that she'll be doing natural (vaginal) deliveries only.
Does she have a temper? Yes, but only if you don't listen & act on her advice(s). We used to be scolded by her, but not in a bad way, whenever we failed to act on her advice(s). It needs to be understood that the advice(s) she's giving is for the patient's own well-being. She doesn't sugar coat her advices and opinions which is great & best rather than being lied to.
Even my sister after getting pregnant visited her from North Delhi for consultations.
Regarding tele-consultations, can't really comment as we always visited on scheduled dates and never needed any tele-consultations.
Hope this helps.
Visited Dr. Bela Makhija (Gynecologist) For Pregnancy Check Up
Hoped for better: Treatment satisfaction
I am writing about this review of Max Smart super specialty hospital saket delhi
This was my first pregnancy, all was right, so I chose Max Hospital. I did a regular check up with dr bela makhija in saket max smart hospital and in her guidance there was no problem till 37 weeks, infact my water level was low.
In 37 weeks I took the appointment of dr bela makhija on March 15, 2019 and Dr. told me that you should make a last ultra sound
And show us the report
But after the appoinment at 6 o'clock in the evening, I started to feel pain that grew very much till 10 o'clock
Then we showed up in an emergency at Max Smart Hospital from where we were sent to the labor room, at that time the 2 dr was avaialable in the labor room, after checking doctor said that it is normal pain take home and give a paracetamol, Can not admit her
But my family said that we can not take them home in this condition, you admit them or give some pain killer or some injection
But he said that we can not give them anything without admit
Then my family gave me admission and I was given a pain killer, and I was sent for ultrasound, when ultrasound department was called to dr in the labor room that you should come once but after repeated calls dr didnt come , After no ultra sound, I was sent back to the labor room
But my pain was going on increasing, and bleeding had started
And during this time doctor's behavior was unexpected, she was shouting me
Why are you crying so much here and there is more patient even though he himself was speaking loud; sometimes she would beat on the bed and sometimes come near to my face, screams to me and the nurse also told me that do not push otherwise baby will be a problem
But this pain was uncontrolled. When we asked her when regular dr will come, we were told that he can come anytime after 10 o'clock next day
As the time was getting increasing, my pain was increasing, during this time, I heard dr from Dr. Nurse saying this sign her in a paper with this. If something happens to this or her child, then we will not be responsible for it. When i said to dr that I have to go to the washroom, then go to sleep that one side. I do not want to answer back to everything, until my child's morning Heart Beat was greatly reduced by the grace of God dr bela makhija came to the hospital at 8 o'clock. And he promptly referred me to opertaion
8.33 The baby was taken out by cesarean and 2 unit blood was given to me
My child's breathing was very fast
It was kept in nicu for 5 days
Kept in nicu for 5 days
Oxygen given for 5 days
1 day child had to give antibiotics
After this I met Dr bela makhija. He told me that for some reason today it came early, or else the child could have lost his life a little longer
Next day Dr. Bela told me that we have removed those doctors, but was not true
After this, we complained of maxhealth care, after which we were called by Medical Superintendent Dr. Sahar Qureshi, who had 3 doctors from his side and 3 people from our family and those two doctors were not called in that meeting.
Dr. Sehar Qureshi tried his best to save those doctors
Dr Sahar told us that the punishment of those doctors is that they will be given extra duty, more than this we can not take any action against them.
Should such doctors get the enough punishment.
