Introduction:

I am wondering why there is no 10-star rating system in google reviews and other reviews. Dr. Sumanta Dey is that clan of doctor’s who needs to review in a 10-star category. I give him 15 stars out of 10 stars.

Let’s come to the writing which I dedicate to my doctor, Dr. Sumanta Dey. I was diagnosed with gallstones and a distended gallbladder in Nov 2023. My home physician immediately referred to general surgeon for Cholecystectomy. I was scared and puzzled about my life as I have not undergone any surgery in my life earlier and obviously as a patient I am really pissed off.

Here comes my doctor, Dr. Sumanta Dey. I went to him for a visit in his chamber and as soon as I entered, he knew I was scared. His rigorous and minute checking in the visit already increasing my confidence that I am in the best place (please note that I have deliberately used “best place” instead of ‘right place’). My doctor, Dr. Dey was so accurate about diagnosis and with everlasting charming smile he answered all the questions patiently. The questions about the procedure, how it will take place, the recovery and rehabilitation process etc all the questions were answered with a strong confidence. Again, please note that I also asked silly questions, which Dr. Sumanta Dey also answered to subsidize my fear. Such a good heart!

The D-Day:

He ran several tests before surgery to ensure every aspect safety of the patient. After I took admission in hospital with a strong monitoring of Dr. Sumanta Dey. I was monitored by his team from that night itself, such is his concern for patients. In the morning I was put on fasting for better operative procedure. I entered the O.T. room and saw a pure hearted smile form my doctor. He again boosted up my confidence and I was under General Anesthesia and when I regained my consciousness, I saw I was in the recovery room. Surgery was successful and uneventful. All the parameters were achieved by my doctor. Dr. Sumanta Dey’s monitoring system for Pre-operative and post-operative are simply world-class and I have recovered fully and writing this review in a super-merrier mood.

The Takeaway:

Dr. Sumanta Dey is one of the finest surgeons who has the ability to give the patient world class treatment procedure. His knowledge and practical application is vast like an ocean. One can without any worry and tension can visit for their medical problems to Dr. Sumanta Dey in his expertise areas. I recommend Dr. Sumanta Dey. I wish him a good health and my ever best wishes to him for his coming professional and personal life.

This doctor suggested us to get a colonoscopy done by a doctor of Gastroenterology. We paid money for the procedure that was to be done on the next day. We were told that the impacted bowel will be taken out during the procedure. Few minutes into the procedure, the Doctor of Gastroenterology says that he cannot perform the procedure as there is bowel obstructing the colon. So when I asked him that he is supposed to remove the obstruction as mentioned to us. I am then told that impacted bowel cannot be removed through colonoscopy. *** *** *** *** **** ** *** ** ** *** **** ********* ***** **** ********** ****** he says that he will admit my mother and do a surgery. *** *** ****** **** ** **** *** ********* *** Money was wasted, *** ** *** ****** *** ******* ********* ********** ** ****** ** ** ** *** ******** ***** **** *********** ****** ** ****** *** ********** *** ***** *** ****** *** *** *** ** ***** ** **************

My herniya operations done by him. 100% success. His behavior also very Good.

I discharged from hospital next day after operations.

My father had brain tumuor recently he was operated by Dr. D K Roy,Where Doctor of Apollo Hospital and Vellore CMC hospital rejected my father to operate that tumuor Dr. D K Roy also told that It could be a great risk of life for my father but ultimately it became successful because of the doctor and his team.They had done a great job.

I was a regular patient of doctor sanjiv Chaudhary who had cleared me of my balanitis.So I had high hopes on him and went to see him again after my balanitis had relapsed after 2 years.First of all he diagnosed my problem as candidal balanitis and suggested me to use lullifin.There was a single rash prior to the treatment and immediately after using lullifin I developed multiple rashes.I went to see the doctor again and he dismissed the rashes as nothing.Soon the rashes got bigger in size and became painful.He then diagnosed the rashes as a chronic skin condition and prescribed an ointment for the same.My rashes started stinging after using the ointment and I was forced to change my doctor *** ********* **** ** *** * **** ** **** ********And it was under him that I convalesced

A good physician but an extremely inconsiderate and rude individual. If you are looking for a doctor who can be approached freely in the time of need; would never recommend this guy. He does not take calls, very rude over phone. I have dealt with this guy for more than 4 years for my aged mother and had very bad experience most of the time

I am patient from Bangladesh and I had visited this doctor at Ruby Hospital in Kolkata for my Cancer in Rectum. I was very happy with the behaviour and treatment of this doctor. We do not have such good doctors in Bangladesh any more. I had visited Kothari and Apollo Chennai too but there was no benefit. I am pain free and probably cancer free after receiving Radiotion therapy from Dr. Kundu.

I must recommend him regarding all Cancer patients.

Extremely polite* ********* ************** Explains all details of all possible options with proa and cons so that it is convenient for patients to take decision on next steps. He is very decisive and helps us too in making fast decisions which is very important for such kind of disease.
