Visited Dr. Aditya Nair (Psychiatrist) For Anxiety And Depression
Hoped for better:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
I've my reasons to not recommend this doctor. I went there to be treated for depression after chronic illness and pain due to a spine injury. He's not the first psychiatrist/counselor I've visited. So, I obviously expected to be treated well and to feel good after meeting a doctor. * ******* He used many adjectives to define my personality, *** ** **** **** *** ** ** ****** ** *** **** ** **** ** ******** Anxiety was the main factor. He isn't friendly, I found him arrogant and kinda rude in his approach. He was very judgemental, ****** ********* * ************ ********* *** ***** *** I still underwent that test, MCMI-IV, to be clear about myself. He prescribed medicines and told that if I felt the need, I could go for counseling sessions too. He told I'd have to take those meds for 6 months and I'll be fine. After a couple of days of taking this meds, I really remained happy. I went back to him after a long gap than asked (was travelling for work, etc) and expressed what I went through and how I felt. He was very cold and non-empathetic as usual. Prescribed more meds. Now he told me that, I have to take those meds, NOT 6-9 months from now, but from the time I recover. Also, asked me to go to somebody for counselling. I don't mind going for that either. It always feels better to express oneself before somebody who understands. I had my set of questions, which he answered in a way, like, beating around the bush. He had done this in the previous two sessions too. * ****** **** **** ***** ** ***** ** *** ****** Too many words, **** ********* *** ****** ******** * *** ******* ******* ***** *** ********** ******** ******* *** * **** ** ** *** ****** * ****** ******* **** **** ** *** ****** **** **** ** ******* **** * *** *** **** ******* **** **** ************ ******* ********* **** *** **** ** ***** I have literally cried after returning from his session. ****** ******* **** * ************ ********* ** ***** ** **** * **** **** **** *** ******** **** ******* **** ** ******* ***** ***** ** ********** Despite not feeling good by meeting him for the first and second time (before and after the test he had asked me to do), I still went to see him again thinking that I might be overthinking or judging him unnecessarily but the third visit made me feel so awful about my situation and life that, I'd definitely never want to see him again. And to be honest, I had been quite relaxed and happy these days, **** ******* **** ** **** ********* *** **** ****** ***** ** **** *** ******* Did I forget to mention that he's not a good listener? This is solely my experience. It can be different for others.

Dr. Aditya Nair is, without a doubt, the best psychiatrist I've encountered in my 15-year battle against the demons that once seemed destined to be my downfall. Over the years, I've seen countless psychiatrists, each leaving me more disheartened than the last. Some prescribed medications that turned me into a zombie, making it impossible to function at work, forcing me to accept that this lifeless existence was my fate. Others offered the same treatment every time, with no real diagnosis, analysis, or consideration of alternative approaches. I even had to endure long waits for appointments with one psychiatrist, only to receive basic and unhelpful advice.
But then, I met Dr. Aditya Nair. He truly listened to me, thoroughly explained my condition, and was always available to respond whenever I reached out. The medication he prescribed not only brought about remission but also improved my sleep without the debilitating drowsiness I had experienced before. Dr. Nair went further, diagnosing me with ADHD after recommending specific tests, finally shedding light on the root cause of my lack of focus and frequent job changes.
When I discussed nootropics with him, he provided treatments that not only uplifted my mood but also gave me the energy I had long been missing. Thanks to Dr. Nair, I finally feel like I'm on the path to a fulfilling life, free from the constraints that once held me back.
Visited Dr. Kiran C Mhatre (General Physician)
I had been to hospital and it was for health issue. Treatment was fine by the doctor. I can recommend doctor to my family or friends. I would definitely go back to him again. I am satisfied with the treatment given. Medicine was prescribed by the doctor. I had been for general checkup because I was suppose to travel outside to check if any medications or immunity needed. There was less waiting time in the hospital. Hospital was not clean. I am absolutely fine. He gave me multi vitamin tablets and advise to drink hot water. Doctor was friendly with me.

I didn't start Physiotherapy. I am not able to visit because of the COVID issue. The doctor was spending less time like 5 - 10 minutes which I didn't like. For one month I was looking appointment for him. I still have pain in right hand. I am taking tablets suggested by him. Initially, I was not able to lift hand. Now it's manageable. I don't have plans to go again currently. I can recommend if there is no other option in hand.
