Visited Dr. Mona Dahiya (Infertility Specialist) For Fertility Treatment
Hoped for better:Â Doctor friendlinessExplanation of the health issueTreatment satisfactionValue for money
I consulted Dr. Mona Dahiya after seeing the positive reviews online. I started treatment in Jan 2023 in Max hospital, sec-19 Noida, wherein she suggested me to go for 2 IUI cycles, and if it's unsuccessful, to then go for IVF. Since my husband had to travel for work, he wasn't in town in both the upcoming iui cycles. After having detailed discussion with with Dr. Mona, she suggested us to freeze the semen sample for 2 months for iui process. My husband went twice to Milan Fertility centre in GK (where iui process would take place) to submit his sample. Plan for 2 IUI cycle was informed to the Milan facility as well, I even asked Dr. Mona would the sample be sufficient for both the IUI cycles and she said "yes". After First cycle of IUI was unsuccessful in Jan, the next IUI cycle was planned for Feb. For Feb cycle, I consulted her 3-4 times, took meds, even took trigger injection. Just 12hrs before the procedure at 8pm before night, I got the call from Milan Fertility centre that both the sample given by my husband were used in the 1st iui cycle in January. I was totally stunned that how casually they just didn't even bother to inform me earlier. I paid 1200 every time for consultation, 5000 for one month extra for semen freezing (while there is no sample left to freeze), additional money wasted on meds and injection too. I didn't get the call from Dr. Mona or her assistant about this information. In total we wasted 13000-14000.
Now, this mishap could be easily avoided if Dr. Mona and her assistant did their due diligence and kept proper coordination with the Milan Fertility centre.
She always seemed in hurry whenever I consulted her. Never explained the procedure properly. Infact she asked me to have some hormone tests, I got that done, she was in so much hurry that she even forgot to see those test results.
Keeping accurate and timely records of patients is of vital importance in fertility cases with IUI and IVF procedures. But this was missing in our case.
The samples, test reports should be properly filed. But surprisingly Dr dahiya and her team didn't keep our records updated. It was one of the most harrowing experience for us considering that we didn't even get a proper explanation or apology from the doctor and her team .

Hoped for better:Â Treatment satisfaction
I visited her as I was feeling some noise in my ear when I move my jaw. First visit, she checked my ears and said there is swelling in them and right one has heavy wax. So she has given me wax ear drop for right ear (use 10 times a day and ear drop instruction says only thrice a day) and pantop dsr and asked to visit after a week with Tympanogram test report. Dont know why pantop dsr is given **** * **** *** **** *********
Tympanogram test report was okay. The specialist in the lab said if there is wax in the ear, then the report would have not been correct. So there is no wax.
After 2 days, I was having pain in my right ear. So I waited for 3 more days and visited her on 5th day.
Second visit, she checked my ears and said there is no swelling in left ear. But there is swelling n wax in right ear. Wax needs to be out for which she asked me to bill it. After billing, she tried to remove wax from my right ear *** ** *** ****** *******, there was no wax. *** **** ****** ** *** **** **** *** ******* *** **** *******

We went for my husband's diagnosis and consultation. He had fallen and hurt both his palms and the muscle around both his wrists. We went to Dr Nikunj in the Max Speciality hospital after reading the reviews. During our consultation, he seemed to be in a lot of hurry *** *** *** **** ****** ** ********* ***** ********. Instead he kept looking at his computer and typing out a prescription and asked us to go get x-ray done for both arms. He asked us to show him the x-ray plates immediately and that he would wait. But after getting the x-ray done, when we went to meet him again (after 15-20 mins) he had already left. The staff was not sure what to do and were saying, ** ***** **** ******* *** ** *** **** *** ** ** ***** They called him and he asked us to travel to different clinic to show him and gave an excuse that he had to leave because of an emergency case. ******* **** *** ******* I refused saying my husband can't drive the car all the way again to a different clinic. He then asked some random doctor and x-ray technician to diagnose the problem by reading the x-ray plates. So basically we went for the consultation of a highly reviewed doctor and came back with incomplete diagnosis by the technician and a newcomer doctor. ** *** *** **** ************** ********* * **** **** ******** **** * ******* *** ******** ** ********* * ********* *** **** **** ** *********** *********** The staff takes money but does not guide the patients properly, neither do they keep track of the ongoing patient consultations. My husband wanted to discuss other issues he was facing because of the fall on his legs also but obviously, both the doctor and staff was done after taking the money. They had no concern for patient safety or well-being and I am never ever going to visit this hospital again. I wasted 3.3K in one day and came back completely dissatisfied. It's money down the drain *** ** ****** ** ****. I had to visit another doctor ****** ***** *** ** *** * **** **** ********* ** *** ******* *** ******** ** ********* ****** **** *********

Happy with:Â Doctor friendlinessTreatment satisfactionExplanation of the health issue
Although I had therapy before I was quite nervous at the start but she was very friendly and very good listener. She listened to my problems very carefully and also gave a different perspective to how I should treat my problems. It has been 3-4 sessions since then and still ongoing , I can say It have changed me a lot , I have rebooted my life and now there are things that I looking forward in my life rather than giving excuses and being unhappy. She has some great insights and I hope she will guide me as my journey continues. Thanks ma’am !!
