We reached Manisha Ma'am for second opinion at 35th week of my pregnancy, after my then consulting doctor started rushing us for C-section and we got to know from a friend that she is expert with NVD, so we wanted to have her opinion with our case, given my reports, if there is a chance for NVD or c-section is the only way to deliver. We were very disappointed at that time with our consulting doctor, as through our entire pregnancy journey we got the assurance that it will be NVD and towards the end of third trimester as body parameters start to change many doctors start panicking and suggest c-section as the only way out. However once we consulted doctor Manisha, all our apprehensions were alleviated, she is an excellent counselor. From our first meeting itself she instilled us with confidence that she has delivered other patients also with even more deranged body parameters naturally, and to increase our confidence she made us talk to one of her old patient.

Post the first meet, she asked us to visit three more times and she insisted on pregnancy to reach atleast 37 weeks to avoid any complications with the baby's development. While our previous doctor was forcing us to get c-section and steroids for baby because according to her pregnancy shouldn't go beyond 36 weeks otherwise it is going to be harmful for baby.

In our 3 visits she mentally and physically prepared me for delivery and I was induced at the end of 37th week. She kept a check during entire labor process as I had a long labor, and finally I delivered naturally. It was a beautiful experience for me and by husband to be in the labor room with baby. My baby was healthy and immediately shifted to my room. I couldn't thank her enough for the Godly role she played in our lives and provided us hope when there wasn't any. Post delivery also she guided us on what to expect mentally and physically, how family can support mother in post natal phase. She literally means it when she says, she wants to bring down the rate of c-section, because after my own experience I realise that in maximum cases c-section isn't even necessary but many doctors force it on us for their comfort. Even during labor when I started to lose hope, if I would be able to do it, she kept saying c-section is just a 5 minute thing and it can be done any time, which gave me confidence to continue with labor.

Thanks a lot doctor for providing quality healthcare and abling women like me with bodily autonomy at such crucial time.

It gives me immense pleasure to write this testimonial for Dr. Manisha Ranjan. Couple of years back, even when I was not family planning, I was referred to Dr. Manisha by my cousin. And after some initial research over Practo and reading the glorious reviews about other patients journey with her, we decided to visit her for consultation. The way she explained the entire process to relax our initial qualms, made it clear that we have found ourselves the perfect gynaecologist for the most exciting year of our lives.

Her warm, welcoming and friendly personality, combined with her extensive knowledge and expertise, always put us at ease and made it easy for us to ask even the slightest of questions throughout our pregnancy journey.

Over the course of nine months, she went above and beyond to ensure that both my baby and I were healthy and happy. Never hesitated to answer my countless questions or address my concerns, even during odd hours. She also made me comfortable during complications (although minor), but I’ve been told that such complications can very well exaggerated, and made us understand the root cause of it, thus helping us overcome it quickly and healthily.

I want to share two experiences for which I’m grateful to for Dr. Manisha. One, is that she will everything in her power to opt for a normal delivery. We were adamant for normal delivery and did absolutely everything she recommended us, hoping for one. And what do we know, we had one of the smoothest and healthy pregnancy, delivering a healthy baby boy at the right time, without any complication. Second, the entire delivery process, Dr. Manisha and her team always kept the room lively with encouraging words and pleasant music, one thing that I will cherish always. I still relive the experience in my mind at times and wish everyone expecting to have similar experiences.
