She might be a great doctor but empathy wise, she is a zero. I went to her with a difficult fibroid case wherein there is a huge risk of losing my uterus and she was like "life is more than that dear. Even without uterus, you will be fine. She gave me a contraceptive and went on talking about the "law of attraction, and how with you mental strength, you can defeat it and the fibroid can shrink.* **** * ******** *****. ** * **** ** ****** ** ******* **** ** *** ******* *** *** **** ** *** ******* ***** *** ******* *********** **** **** ** ***** ** ****. Moreover, she didn't even say she would do everything in her power to ensure that the surgery goes well. She was like, you can still live without your "uterus". **** * **** ** * ******.

I am in my second trimester and have been going to Dr Chitra since the start of the first trimester. She was always curt, to the point, and refused to give her number in case of emergencies. She said go to the hospital in case the situation arises. This is the first time I have seen a gynaecologist refusing to share her number knowing fully well that pregnant women have tons of questions and several mini emergencies which may not actually be an emergency but the women just want an assurance that all is well.
Coming back to my case, I am in the second trimester and I got an anxiety attack on Aug 27 night. I called up her assistant doc Sushmita prakash on Aug 28 morning who asked me to go to emergency since it was a Sunday and that’s the “best we can do on a Sunday”. I went there and the doc on duty was gentle and helped me calm down. On Aug 29 I went to her to show my reports and for general consultation. Apollo being a low ceiling hospital and the gynae OPD being in basement I was feeling very claustrophobic and was anyway recovering from my trauma of the last two days. When I entered her room, I took my mask off as I couldn’t breath and was getting panicky in my mind due to the small chamber. She confirmed that I was the same patient who came the day before for emergency and then started on her rant of wearing mask *** *** ******** **** ** **** ******* **** *** ****** She kept sort of screaming and being mean and rude, knowing fully well my fragile state of mind. I couldn’t believe I was with a doctor. **** *** ******* **** *** ** **** ******* ****** ******* ******** I started weeping and she got up and asked me to open the door and stand there and talk if I wanted to be without mask. I felt embarrassed by my situation, pathetic that I actually cried in front of this person *** ******* ******* ** ** * ****** *** ********** *** ** ****** ********** She said I was free to cancel my appt, get a refund and go to a hospital which was big and lavish. I sat there listening to all this, crying. I know I would never recommend anyone to go ** **** ******** ****** *** **** ** ** *** ******* ** *** ******** ******* **** ****

I visited this Dr for 2nd opinion. My first visit to Dr was very good, however she told me to come back with report in 15 days. she told me some test of Approx INR 3500. She saw the report and just said 'continue with same medicine'. I wanted to know about my health improvement, she said if you need to consult come again with proper appointment, you just have come to show report. Only because when we came to show report so they didn't charge me Consultation fee of INR 1200. so, she did not reply my any of questions. even she didn't let us ask any questions. we specially came from Greater Noida to Noida (obv not investing my time and money just to show report). it would have been a better way. Even she doesn't use WhatsApp and Don't pick phone in case of emergency. Clearly in prescription it's mentioned ' please reach Apollo hospital in case of emergency and on duty staff will attend you'. I believe it's over professionalism, a pregnant woman will always look for Gyne who is there to help you in case of any emergency.
Dr Chitra has delivered both of my children. She is a calming force like no other. Confident, kind, experienced, always with a smile, I felt like I was consulting with a well known aunt of mine. I wouldn't recommend any other gynaecologist when Dr Chitra is still practising.
I really had bad experience with Dr Chitra. I had to change my dr. in between my pregnancy as she does not provide timely help when I needed her advice during Covid time and I couldn't go to the clinic. She asks for teleconsultation even for emergency advice. I would never recommend her as a pregnant women needs doctor who is reachable and ready to help at any time.

I have been consulting Dr. Satiya since 12 years. She is extremely confident with her diagnosis. She always refers to the past history and advises very minimal medications. I highly recommend Dr. Chita Satiya for all women out there.
