This level can be reverted back to normal, if you avoid transfat, bakery products, junk food, red meat etc
Because you have a strong family history of heart diseases, try to avoid above said food items, incorporate one hour daily excercise, try to manage your weight with in normal limits.
Most important, keep a check on BP, blood sugar, lipid profile, ECG , once in a while.

Hello, we see that your answer is in your question itself. 1st thing to do is to cut down on your out side food intake. reduce the visible fat intake in your diet, that is the oils, butter, ghee, etc in your diet. have more of fiber filled foods which with help reduce appetite, and also, decrease the blood cholesterol level, increase the removal of cholesterol form your body. improve the quality and quantity of protein in your diet. inculcate a habit of eating more of home cooked healthy foods.
