Hi! Psychiatrist usually listen to symptoms and give medicines according to presenting complaints. Whereas with clinical psychologists or psychotherapists, you can book a session where time will be dedicated to you and through different modes of therapies, you'll be better able to manage your anxiety and stressors well. Please do consider having both psychiatric treatment and counseling together. That gives a boost in the result.
Next Steps
Go ahead with proper counseling sessions with a psychologist.
