Hi Doctor , How much protein is required during pregnancy ? Is there any side effect if consuming more protein ? Please suggest. Thanks

Hi You should get a minimum of 60 grams of protein in a day, which will account for approximately 20 percent to 25 percent of your calorie intake. Too much off protein will lead to constipation and stomach up set, and during pregnancy you have to be very careful if you get uncomfortable with anything.
