It doesn't matter how much or how often I eat, I can't gain weight.I have tried joining a gym, but to no avail.

Hello, I went through your query, skinny guys usually have more basal metabolic rate,, what ever they eat body uses it for maintaining BMR. you meet to eat more than 4000cal per day, that is more than even a big guy consumes,, yes you have to consume that, it should be daily,, avoid smoking and drinking,, if any. In gym work out alternate days with coumpund movements like,, deadlift, squates, pullups,, bench press,, push-ups,, avoid too much cardio. Yes with this you can increase weight. Don't lose hope. Be consistent.
