Post Root Canal treatment
Post RC treatment does a tooth require Cap to it. What are pros and cons of NOT having it ? My doc is suggesting me to have cap and they are very expensive. Any suggestions.

Hai... After RCT tooth becomes brittle ..so better go for crown.....

Yes, in most of the cases, cap/crown is required after root canal treatment. Although it depends on various factors to actually decide to give or not the crown on the tooth, but mostly it is required. Trust me, if it is your molar or premolar tooth, do a favour for yourself. Get a dental crown.

Hello Yes Post RCT your teeth will need a cap. Otherwise it can break due to chewing forces. As ROOT canal treated teeth become brittle. Please do the cap to save your tooth. Else the treatment is incomplete.

Hi...I will advise you to get cap done. Mostly when you require RCT ,the tooth structure loss is too much. First you need proper core build up filling to support the remaining natural tooth. After that depending on your budget you need to replace the uniform layer of missing enamel in the form of cap which protects your tooth against fracture. Yes cap is required after rct otherwise tooth will fracture n u might need have to go for extraction...  There are various options available for the cap. U can go for the one wch fits into your budget

Hello.. Post rootcanal treatment you will require cap.. Root canal treatment is nothing but removing the pulp ( without pulp tooth becomes dead).. Hence tooth becomes brittle and might break with smallest chewing force.. It might also require a treatment called post and core..

Post Rct ,tooth need crown definitely for proper function of tooth for chewing and grinding of food. Moreover crown helps in preventing the tooth from getting fractured in long run. Price varies from the type of material u choose Metal,metal ceramic or pfm, metal free,zirconia (3000 to 10000)
