Surgery query
I had an open surgery on 01.11.19...Surgery name- Proctectomy+IPAA+Covering loop ileostomy.32 clips has been used...15 staples has been removed(alternate clip removal)while 17 are still there..After the removal of the clip I could notice some kind of discharge near navel area...I'm doing regular dressing at home with betadine solution but still its coming..Is it normal?If no then kindly tell what to do?

Your wound is infected see your doctor immediately. They will give you a sterile patch to put on it for some days , keep it dry no water on it .
