If there is re infection which can be correctable u can go for re rct .n this time don't miss the cap for it..
If there is re infection which can't be correctable then go for extraction..

May be the dentist have observed something which should be re done for better prognosis...re Rct followed by crown is best option...but u can ask your dentist why to do Re RCT...i am sure he will explain u better and will satisfy u

Sir
If you have pain in that particular teeth then 're ray is planned then only and if but if there is no pain may be there is no such problem but doing for crown is must as after doing rct own teeth lose its moisture and become brittle and can break due to forces
You can also practo consult us
Regards
The Re - RCT is planned only in case of teeth having infected again. If you haven’t taken a crown on the tooth for a long time the chances are the tooth will crack.
Any way u may post the Xray and photographs of the tooth and take a Practo consult. Tc
Hi
If the root canal treated teeth is favourable for re root canal therapy we can proceed . But in some conditions the prognosis after re treatment will not be that much successful. In that case , extraction and replacement will be the best option.
