Trismus-Mouth not opening
I had a root canal treatment and after 5 days of that my mouth stopped opening fully. I can just open the mouth upto 1.5 fingers. What can be done to treat this condition.

Mebbe the trismus is due to injection.take a muscle relaxant for three days twice a day. Luke warm salt water gargel And massage the area where the injection was administered

Trismus has got various causes. In your condition it may be due to an infection or due to the injection. If it's due to injection your dentist will advise you on how to relieve that.

This can sometimes happen due to injection as muscles go into a spasm. Do hot water gargles with salt and mouth opening exercises to increase mouth opening. It will get better in a few days.
