Utreus 2.7 cm open. While going to regular checkup in 5th month scan our dr told need to stitch 2.7cm. It is must or not.

Usually cervical stitch is needed if cervix length is 2.5 cm or less. If internal os is open, stitch may be given at longer cervical length. It will be mentioned clearly in your ultrasound report. If internal os is open, a stitch will a right decision
