Dear Practo user Kindly don't restrict your calories too much just for reducing your weight  that too specially when you are breastfeeding.if you restrict your calories without understanding your body is present situation it will affect your baby who is totally depended on your milk. Do regular works for home based exercises. Or connect with a personal trainer who can help you in terms of fitness workouts. in terms of diet modification also take up a qualified dieticians suggestion. so kindly connect with a dietitian for detailed assessment and get your plan customised. Hi, If you do breast feed  frequently, it actually helps you to reduce weight, but right now calorie compromising should not recommend as it may affect milk production. Try to include more fruits, vegetables and complex carbohydrates in your diet. After total recovery of stitches, you can go for exercise, which will help you to burn fat mass. Hydrate youself enough and avoid spicy and oily food.
